With me living in Brewster ohio and my dad working for them that isnt the W&le Fuller yard the name of the yard in brewster is brewster yard or brewster base as it is called over the radio Fuller yard was made up for the movie and the tower is not used everyday all yard movements are controlled by the brewster yard master witch office is in the w&le offices in downtown brewster I hope you dont take this as me being mean toward you or your blog hope you have a good night.

  3. Correction to the part addressing the power/dynamic selector on the control stand; That photo shows the later type control stand with separate dynamic and throttle. There is no “selector” switch on that control stand. The 8888 had an earlier version, where the throttle/dynamic used the same lever, and transition between power and dynamic was made via a ratcheting lever above, and to the right. These selectors could (and still can be) finicky, and so the newer stand was designed with two separate levers. Not only that, but if you’ll notice that the dynamic and throttle handles are shaped differently to avoid confusion, and increases in power or dynamic are made inverse of one another to avoid confusion as well.
