While this book was published over 20 years ago, it may be helpful if you start researching older movies: JENSEN, LARRY – THE MOVIE RAILROADS, DARWIN PUBLICATIONS, 1981, BURBANK, CALIFORNIA. I think that there’s only been one edition and printing. Also, there is a Yahoo Group that covers this topic: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/movietvrailroads/. Mr. Jensen is a moderator. The group hasn’t been particularly active in the past 2 years, but it might come alive if you join and start asking questions. I hope that this helps your project progress.
Hmmm…I just looked at the movietvrailroads group site at yahoo groups. You may also want to look at the Posts, Links, and Database offerings in the menu on the left. You may find additional, useful information.

That’s a good site when profiling SP locomotives…
My spouse and I absolutely love your blog and find the majority of your post’s to be just what I’m looking for.
Do you offer guest writers to write content to suit your needs?
I wouldn’t mind producing a post or elaborating on some
of the subjects you write with regards to here. Again, awesome web log!
The name of the artist on Thousand Miles From Nowhere is Dwight Yoakam not Dave Yoakam as listed. (His middle name is David but his music is recorded using Dwight)
